* The Application Concept *
“itsumo NAVI JAPAN MAP” is an app that contains access to maps, address data and points of interest (POI) in Japan through ZENRIN DataCom's servers for up-to-date map information. Individuals also have the option to choose areas in Japan to download for offline use, a must-have when traveling abroad to escape those costly roaming fees. All locations are written in English and Romanized characters to allow individuals who cannot read Japanese to travel freely around while visiting and/or living in Japan.
* Look & Feel of the Map *
With just a glance, you can find major landmarks thanks to the easy-to-understand symbols for such spots as temples, shrines, and other sightseeing areas. The app can also easily display maps in Japanese by selecting the "J" button on the map. This will allow you to compare the Japanese Name with the romanized version or merely allow you to ask directions of a local with the actual Japanese name present. Our parent company, ZENRIN, is one of the most famous map vendors in Japan with an unparalleled level of detail to its maps. With these maps, you will find no easier way to get around Japan all on your own.
* Searchable for Locations *
There are currently about 400,000 locations with information available. These locations are available to search by reverse address look-up (starting with the relevant prefecture and focusing on smaller areas such as city and block). Users cann also search nearby locations by genres such as:
Driving, Leisure, Hotels & Accomodations
Shopping, Hospital & Government offices,
Financial Institutions, Cultural Facilities
Restaurants, Schools

* Notice *
1. To use this application, please connect to the internet with either a WiFi or through you 3G network provider.
2. Calculating a users present location is only available while in Japan, as the application only contains access to maps of Japan.
3. The search function is only available in English. Users can search for locations via genre or reverse address look-up.
4. Full-Text Search for locations is not available.
5. As GPS location aquisition is not 100% accurate, calculating your current location will provide only an "approximated" current location.
