A simple and powerful photo editor for the Mac.
MOUNTAIN LION 10.8 USERS : LiveQuartz has a bug now on Mountain Lion preventing the user from picking a new filter. Next release will address this issue. It is waiting Apple's approval.
SNOW LEOPARD 10.6 USERS : 1.9.7 is the last version of LiveQuartz running on 10.6 OS X and on 32 bit Intel Hardware. Be carefull to make a backup of your app as it will not be available anymore on the AppStore soon.
RETINA MAC USERS : LiveQuartz does not support retina display mode yet (HiDPI). Next releases will enhance retina support.
It is based on non destructive layers and filters. The layers are at the left and the filters are at the right of the window. To edit a photo, just drag it into the window (or layers’ list) and it will be added as a new layer. LiveQuartz supports Gestures (Multi-Touch).
