@Multiblake13 you need to first install the MacOSX on a virtual machine or Mac, you must get the Xcode developer tools, it cost $5

@lanettecream Eclipse for doing Python and Ruby on Mac OS X works great. No Xcode required.

@john_r_shannon what I mean is that this book teaches C using Xcode on the Mac so there's little chance of there being an OS/compiler issue

@pixelsrzen Jaguar fortified the Mac OS X feature set. Panther brought improvements and XCode. Tiger transitioned Mac OS X to a, x86 future.
