VDialer is a system service that allows you to make calls using Vonage's Click2Call™ service. You select numbers from your Contacts list or by selecting a phone number anywhere it has selectable text. Whether it's from a web page, a text document or any selectable text. VDialer can then dial that number for you. Once the number is dialed, you phone will ring. Pick up the phone and it will call that number.
VDialer features include:
- Dial a number from your Contacts list.
- Select a phone number from any text.
- Remember the last 5, 10 or 15 phone number that you had dialed.
- Configurable local and international prefixes.
- VDialer can be set to launch at boot, so that it is always active ("Start VDialer at Login").
Requirements:
- An active internet connection is required.
- Vonage phone service.
Just set your Vonage Username and Password in the Preferences in the app. Select the phone number for your account (if you have more than one) and you should be all set.
